Mini teams training moves to Queen Elizabeth School

After the wet conditions at the Merley First School last Saturday training for the Mini kickers,U7s,U8s,U9s and U10s will move to QE at least to the end of January 2015 .

Timings

9am till 10am Under 10s and Under 7s

10am till 11am Under 8s

10.15am till 11.15am Mini kickers

10.30am till 11.30am Under 9s

Sean Hill becomes one of the UK's youngest ever Level 2 Football coach at just 16

Congratulations to Sean Hill who has become one of the UK’s youngest ever Level Two coaches. Sean who is still 16 years old a plays for the Under 18’s passed his FA Level Two badge at the begining of October. Sean who coaches the Merley’s Under 9 team featured in the Bournemouth Evening Echo on the 17th October with the link to the article below.

At the club’s AGM on the 10th June the club said a farewell to outgoing Chairman John Groves and Secretary Jacqui Groves and thanked them for their combined service of over 20 years.

John handed over his Chairmanship to Martin Rendell whilst Gavin Rusling will be taking over the Secretary’s position for the 2014/5 season.

Martin’s first job to confirm the Officers of the club and Managers.Amoungst Merley’s 17 teams for next season Martin welcomed new managers Lee Rickets (U12 Dorset), Danny Greenough (U12 Girls), Rob Craig (U13 Girls) and John Hunt (U15).

Fees for 2014/15

a    Signing on fees for 2014/5 to remain at £30 with new sock for new players

b    Training Fees for 5v5 7v7 will be £99per year payable in 3 equal installments of £33 in September, November and January 

c    Training Fees for 9v9 11v11 will be £120 per year payable in 3 equal installments of £40 in September, November and January 

d    Match Fees for 5v5 7v7 will be £2 per game

e    Match Fees for 9v9 11v11 will be £2.50 per game
